– Tuesday Fourball, Sep 23rd sponsored by Mr Tom Crosbie (Autocar Logistics)
Please be reminded that if you do not attend or are not represented at the presentation you will not receive your prize.
The presentations will be followed by the draw for the timesheet for Sunday October 19th (Charity Singles in aid of the Community Hospital). The Find the Joker draw will also take place that evening, with a jackpot of around €3,500 on offer.
Entries are now being taken for the Winter League. Prepaid entry costs only €25 for the 5 competitions held between November & February. To enter enclose the fee in an envelope with your name and contact details on it and place it in the Men’s Competition box. The draw for tee times will take place later in the month
The bunkers will undergo extensive work as part of the annual winter maintenance programme. Members are asked to take extra care of the bunkers in the meantime to ensure that they are thoroughly raked after use. Pitch marks are very apparent on our greens now that they have been softened by the heavy rain over the last week. Please do your utmost to repair all your own pitch marks and any other ones you come across in the course of your game. As members, we really need to do the most we can to support the excellent work that our greens’ staff carry out.
Paying Next Year’s Subscription
Now is a good time to consider making some down payments on your subscription for next year to avoid having to pay the whole amount in March. You can make payments towards next year’s subscription at any time in the bar using you GUI Card. You can choose how much you’d like to pay and make as many payments as you want – just ask any of the bar staff for details.
