Foursomes Matchplay

Entries are now being taken for the Men’s Foursomes Matchplay.  If you want to enter please put your names, entry fee (€15 per pair) and contact number on an envelope and put it in the Men’s Competitions Box in the bar.  The closing date for entries is Tuesday 1st April.

Teams

The first two teams into action this year will be the Barton Cup and Irish Mixed Teams.  The Barton Cup team take on Mount Juliet on Sunday April 6th (3 matches at home, 2 away), whilst the Irish Mixed face a tricky tie against Borris on Friday April 11th (2 matches at home, 3 away).  Thank you to all who have shown an interest in the teams so far – we hope you can all get behind our teams this year.

Pro Am

There are now less than 10 places left in the Pro Am.  If you would like to take part, please contact James or Paul in the Pro Shop as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.   The Pro Am takes place on Fri May 16th and the organisers are seeking volunteers to work as starters and marshals on the day.  Please contact James or Paul if you are willing to volunteer.

Last week’s winner of the Find the Joker draw was John Byrne who drew the Ace of Hearts.  No jackpot for John, but he picked up €30 for his troubles.  The jackpot is now €1,530.  Remember, anyone can enter; entries cost €2 and are taken in the bar.  Thank you to all who support this fundraiser.
