Presentation to Charity – New Ross Community Hospital
Captain, Paschal Bolger, and Lady Captain, Liz Bennett, were delighted to present a cheque for €1,500 to New Ross Community Hospital last week on behalf of the Men’s & Ladies’ Sections. New Ross Community Hospital was the chosen charity of 2013 Captains Seamus McGuinness & Ger Donohoe. Thank you to Jim Collins who represented New Ross Community Hospital at the presentation.
The timesheets for the Christmas Classic are now live on the website. The popular competition runs from Saturday 21st December until Sunday January 5th. It is an Open 4 person team event (any combination) with two scores counting on holes 1 thru 17 and all four scores counting on the last. The entry fee is €5 for members and €15 for visitors.
New Ross Golf Club are delighted to be hosting a Pro Am on Friday May 16th. The event will be part of the PGA Irish Region Order of Merit. The club will send out plenty more information about the event in the coming weeks and months, but for now please keep this date in your diary.
Find the Joker
This week’s winner of the Find the Joker draw was Micheál O’Neill, who opened envelope 52 to reveal the King of Clubs. The jackpot is now over €1,000. Entries cost €2 and are taken at the bar.
