The deadline for the Preliminary round of the Singles Matchplay is Monday July 8th, with the deadline for the First Round proper Monday 22nd July.

The Foursomes Matchplay has now reached the Semi-Final stages and the deadline for completion of the Second Round of the Fourball Matchplay is Tuesday July 9th.

Course Upkeep

Whilst the hot weather forecast for the next week is welcome news for golfers, the golf course itself will suffer some hardship.  It is now more important than ever to ensure we do all we can to keep the course in the exceptional condition that we have become accustomed to – please repair pitch marks, replace divots and rake the bunkers and challenge your fellow golfers to do the same.  If you see litter on the course, please pick it up and bin it.

Find the Joker

Congratulations to Seamus Bradley who won the jackpot of €4,215 when his entry was drawn.  The lucky number was 15!  The jackpot returns at a guaranteed €500 and entries cost €2 and are taken in the bar.

Photos of New Ross Golf Club

We are trying to put together a gallery of old and new photos of the golf course, the clubhouse and the members.  If you have any photos of interest we would be delighted to receive them – you can leave them behind the bar or email photos to nrgcfb@gmail.com
