Next Saturday, the Junior & Intermediate Scratch Cups, both sponsored by Kalonil Stores, take place. They are 18 hole strokes competitions and are open to visitors. The entry fee is €10 for members and €15 for visitors. The handicap limits are 4-9 for the Junior Scratch and 10-18 for the Intermediate Scratch. There are still some tee times available to book online.
On Sunday, an 18 hole Stableford competition in aid of the 3Ts Charity (Turning the tide on suicide) takes place. The winner goes forward to represent the club in a regional qualifier for the National Finals at the K Club.

The timesheets for the Captain’s prize qualifying rounds (Friday 31st or Saturday 1st June) are now live.
The timesheets for Open Week will be going live very soon. An email will be sent out when the timesheets are opened.
The closing date for first round matches in the Foursomes matchplay is Tuesday May 14th. The deadline for entry for the Fourball matchplay was extended to last Sunday and the draw will be made and published this week.
Congratulations to the South Leinster Trophy team who beat Gowran last Saturday. Winners on the day were Hughie O’Connor, Dan Quigley (both away in Gowran) and Pat Whelan at home. Seamus Power was called in at home and Peter Goggin lost out narrowly in Gowran. The team, managed by Jim Meggs, will now play Borris in the next round.
